My daughter and I share a deep love for berries of all kinds. Although raspberries are currently out of season, I indulged and picked up a small flat of them at our local grocery store. Em, upon cleaning them so she could immediately feast, had a nugget of wisdom:
Emma: You know what’s wrong with raspberries, Mom?
Me: No. Tell me, please.
Emma: (Thoughtfully looking inside a raspberry) The holes aren’t big enough for the whipped cream.
Not surprisingly, she managed, despite her complaint.
